Ok so even though Lauren and I are totally obsessed with hair extensions in all textures!!! We also strongly promote healthy natural hair, we are proud of our fros! Many girls think that girls that wear weaves are trying to hide there natural beauty and be something they are not! We do not believe this to be true! We believe that weaves are a fantastic protective style and a great way to switch up your look without causing any damage to your own natural hair!

This myth that girls that weaves do it because they have to is so untrue! You will find that most girls that wear weaves these days do it NOT because they have to!!!! Or to conform to what society wants they do it cuz they want to!!!! And because it looks bloody good!!!!! It runs no deeper than that LOL!

On a personal note weaves tend to make my hair grow really fast as they protect the hair, they are also really good for me because my hair is transitioning from relaxed to natural hair and still has some relaxed ends that I’m not ready to chop off!!!! I tend to have my hair in weave for 2 months and then leave it out for 2 months and this keeps my hair in good condition, as it doesn’t get over stressed with any particular style.

A TIP TO PREVENT YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS FROM SHEDDING

Hey Ladies to prevent your hair from shedding ask your stylist not to cut the wefts of the hair when they instal it! Lauren never cuts the wefts on her hair extensions and she has minimal shedding, the hair hardly sheds at all! Cutting the wefts on our hair damages them and encourages shedding! If you do cut the wefts (like Kerryleigh does when instaling) its not the end of the world just be prepared for a little shedding.

The Tangle Teezer The Best Hair Brush For Hair Extensions!

Hey VHC Ladies I would like to recommend a fabulous hair brush called the tangle teezer!!!! Its been designed with hair extensions in mind and it is fabulous!!!! I highly recommend it for use on our Virgin Indian wavy remy hair, virgin Brazilian wavy remy hair, virgin Indian straight remy hair and virgin Brazilian straight remy hair. Its also great on mine and both of my daughters natural hair.

I purchased mine from Boots it cost me £10 and I cant recommend it enough!

My Hair Held Out On Holiday!!!!!!!!

Hey VHC Girls I have just enjoyed a lovely holiday in Center Parcs with the family, did lots of swimming with the kids, lots of bike ryding and walking in the woods!!! My Virgin Brazilian Afro Curl Remy Hair held out the whole time even in the swimming pool water! The only thing I would say is that the hair wasnt too keen on the clorine in the swimming pool, so it did get a little notty after swimming, but it is type 3c hair so I expected that! If you were to go swimming without a weave your natural hair would get a little notty!!! Well mine does anyway LOL!

This is by far my favorite hair so far, I did plan to instal our grade AAA Virgin Brazilian Straight Remy Hair in October but I dont think I will be able to part with the curly hair LOL!

UPDATE ON MY VIRGIN BRAZILIAN AFRO CURL REMY HAIR

Hey guys just a quick update on the virgin Brazilian afro curl Remy hair. I have it in for just over  1 week and  I still absolutely love it, the hair still looks great it is very natural looking, it is literally just like having my own natural hair out!

This hair is slightly different to any other hair we have ever sold as it does have an afro curl texture! You can never ever comb this hair when dry only comb it when its wet with lots of conditioner in, below is my hair care routine for this hair!

I co wash my hair every other day and wash it once a week I recommend the below products.

Co wash product - herbal essence hello hydration conditioner
Shampoo - herbal essence hello hydration
Deep conditioner - ORS hair mayonnaise
Leave-in conditioner - Cantu Shea leave in moisturiser
For definition of the curls for a spiralled ringlet look, always use a denman brush. Always comb and brush when wet and with product in the hair. Never comb dry.

The thing i love most about this hair is I don’t have to use any heat on the hair or my own hair to blend it!!!! So it really is a protective style!!!!! All I do to blend my own hair with the virgin Brazilian Afro Curl Remy Hair is spray my own hair with a leave in conditioner (i usually use Aussie Hair Care or Mixed Chicks) a two strand twist at night and then undo it in the morning, it blends perfectly!

My Verdict On My Virgin Mongolian Remy Hair

Hey girlies its been a few weeks now and my findings on the Virgin Mongolian Wavy Remy Hair are as follows! Its much thicker than the Virgin Indian and Brazilian Remy Hair, so if you like thick hair this is the one for you!!!! It looks really, really nice straight and straightens really easily!!!!!!!!!!! The only negative is it doesn't hold a curl quite as well as the Virgin Indian or Brazilian Remy Hair. However on the plus side it straightens better!

Ok so I installed my Virgin Mongolian Wavy Remy Hair and the verdict is....................... I LOVE IT! The hair is slightly thicker than the Indian or Brazilian hair and I would say it’s a little straighter than both the Virgin Indian and Brazilian Wavy Remy Hair. This hair blends absolutely beautifully and I’m really happy with it!!!! We will most definitely be stocking lots more of this Virgin Mongolian Remy Hair as I think you guys are going to LOVE IT! I’ve posted pics for you to have a closer look!
